Infrastructure in the West of Ireland

The Shannon Region’s highly developed infrastructure

The Shannon Region has a highly developed infrastructure. Every day there are dozens of flights in and out of Shannon Airport to Britain, continental Europe and transatlantic flights to North America. Ireland’s railway network will take you all over the island while the M7 is a high quality motorway connecting Dublin and Limerick. The N18/M18 including the Limerick Tunnel provides a complete bypass of Limerick and improved access to Shannon, Ennis and Galway and the N20/M20 road/motorway provides access to Cork and Kerry.

There are bus services providing connectivity with every town in Ireland. Of course, there is also a choice of mobile phone service providers and high-speed Internet companies to choose from.
